LED lightbox prices

An LED fabric lightbox is a freestanding frame lit from inside by LEDs, with a printed fabric graphic that fits into it. You buy the frame once, and the graphic can be swapped. These are the prices on my print shop, read from its own price list, with tracked UK delivery included and no VAT to add.

What you get for the money

A kit is the frame with its LED lighting and the printed fabric graphic. The graphic can be printed on one side, for a lightbox against a wall, or on both, so it reads from the front and the back in an open space or a walkway. Graphic-only orders are made to fit the 850mm and 1m premium frames I supply, so if your lightbox came from somewhere else, get in touch before you order.

Lightbox, roller banner or fabric backdrop?

A roller banner costs a fraction of a lightbox and packs into a bag, which makes it the easy choice for occasional events. A lightbox costs more, but it’s lit from within, so it’s seen from across a busy exhibition hall, a reception or a shop floor. A stretch fabric display gives you a whole backdrop wall for a stand. Many stands use a backdrop with a lightbox or a roller banner in front.

What it costs to change the message

This is where a lightbox pays its way. Once you have the frame, a new graphic for the 850mm lightbox costs £83 and one for the 1m costs £165. If you exhibit a few times a year, or want a display in reception that changes with the seasons or your offers, the frame is a one-off cost and each change after that is just the graphic.

Designing a lightbox graphic

Light shines through the fabric, so bold colours and simple layouts work best. Keep the message short and high on the graphic, where it can be read from a distance and over the heads of people standing in front. Display graphics need a template, so ask me for one before you start, then supply artwork at 150dpi at full size, with 3mm bleed and text kept 10mm inside the edge. If you need it designed, display design starts from £175. Exhibition and pop-up banner design covers designing a whole stand.
