Common questions

Which fold should I choose?

A half fold makes a simple four-page leaflet. Roll and Z folds give six panels from one sheet and suit menus, price lists and guides. Cross and concertina folds work for maps and longer layouts.

What’s the difference between folded and creased leaflets?

Creased leaflets are on heavier 250gsm or 350gsm card, creased before folding so the fold is crisp and doesn’t crack. They feel more like a card, so they suit menus, programmes and price cards.

How should I supply artwork for a folded leaflet?

As the flat, unfolded layout in one file, with 3mm bleed. Some folds need panels of slightly different widths, so ask me for a template if you need one.

What are perforated leaflets for?

They’re folded leaflets with a panel that tears away cleanly, for a booking form, voucher or reply slip. They come in A5, A6 and DL.
