Magnetic signs: common questions

Will magnetic signs work on my vehicle?

They need a flat steel surface to hold on to, like most van and car doors. They won’t stick to aluminium, fibreglass or plastic panels, so test a fridge magnet on your door before you order.

What size magnetic sign do I need for a van?

A3 or A2 suits most car doors. A2 or A1 is better for van doors and sides. Measure the flattest part of the panel, avoiding handles and trim, and order two if you want a sign on each side.

How do I set up magnetic sign artwork?

Supply a PDF, JPG or PNG up to 200MB at 150dpi at full size, with 3mm bleed. Keep text, phone numbers and logos at least 10mm inside the edge so nothing is lost at the trim.
