A-frame pavement signs designed and printed by a Glasgow designer

A-frame pavement signs, also called A-boards or sandwich boards, stand outside your door and tell passers-by you’re open. They suit cafés, bars, shops, salons, takeaways and events, for menus, daily offers, directions and opening hours. The A-board stand is included along with your printed panels, so you have everything you need for the pavement.

FAQ

01

A1 or A2 A-board: which should I choose?

A1 is the bigger board and easier to read from across the street, which suits busy pavements and shopfronts. A2 is smaller, so it fits narrow pavements, doorways and indoor spots like hotel lobbies.

02

Are A-board panels waterproof?

Yes. Your design is printed on 220 micron matt white PVC, which is waterproof, so it copes with rain outside a shop or café. The matt finish also cuts down glare, so it’s easier to read in sunlight.

03

How do I set up A-board artwork?

Supply a PDF, JPG or PNG up to 200MB at 150dpi at full size, with 3mm bleed. Keep text and logos at least 10mm inside the edge, so nothing important sits close to the frame.
