FAQ

01

Which paper weight is best for letterheads?

Most people choose 120gsm, which feels noticeably thicker than copier paper. 90gsm is lighter and closer to everyday office paper. 170gsm is the heaviest, for letters that need to feel special. All three are uncoated, so they take pen and signatures well.

02

Should letterheads be single or double-sided?

Single-sided suits most letters. Double-sided lets you add terms and conditions, bank details or a pattern on the back, which works well for quotes, invoices and contracts.

03

How do I set up letterhead artwork?

Supply an A4 PDF, JPG or PNG at 300dpi, with 3mm bleed and text at least 3mm inside the trim. Leave plenty of space for the letter itself. I check every file before it’s printed.
