FAQ

Large format posters: common questions

01

Should I choose paper or PVC for a large poster?

Silk paper suits indoor posters that go in a frame or on a wall. PVC is waterproof and stiffer, so it suits outdoor spots and posters that get handled. 400 micron stays flat on its own, while 220 micron is thinner and more flexible.

02

What size is a 60 × 40in poster?

60 × 40in is about 1524 × 1016mm, the largest size here. 40 × 30in is about 1016 × 762mm, and 30 × 20in is about 762 × 508mm. A0 is 841 × 1189mm and A1 is 594 × 841mm.

03

Are large format posters laminated?

No, large format posters aren’t laminated. If you need something tougher, choose 400 micron PVC, which is thicker and stiffer and stands up better to handling. Both PVC thicknesses are waterproof for outdoor use.
