Waterproof posters designed and printed by a Glasgow designer

Waterproof posters are printed on matt white PVC, so they cope with rain and splashes where paper wouldn’t. They suit outdoor noticeboards, poster frames at sports clubs and campsites, building site notices and event signage. They’re useful for clubs, venues, schools and businesses, and they’re delivered anywhere in the UK.

FAQ

Waterproof posters: common questions

01

Are PVC posters really waterproof?

Yes. They’re printed on matt white PVC rather than paper, so rain won’t soak through or make them go soft. That makes them a good choice for outdoor frames, noticeboards and anywhere they might get wet.

02

220 or 400 micron: which should I choose?

Pick 220 micron for snap frames and noticeboards, where a thinner, bendier sheet is easier to fit. Pick 400 micron if the poster needs to stay flat without a frame or will be handled a lot, as it’s thicker and stiffer.

03

What artwork do waterproof posters need?

Send a PDF, JPG or PNG up to 200MB, at 150dpi at full size, with 3mm bleed and text kept at least 10mm in from the edge. I check every file before it’s printed and let you know if anything needs fixing.
