What logo animation costs

A logo animation starts from £250, built from your existing logo files. If you need it as part of a wider set, such as a video intro, social content or screen adverts, motion work can also be included in a monthly support plan.

Where an animated logo earns its place

The most common uses are video intros and outros, social media posts and profile videos, presentation openers, website hero sections and screens in venues or reception areas. A good animation makes a business look established in the first two seconds.

How long it should be

Most logo animations work best at around 2 to 5 seconds. Long enough to feel deliberate, short enough that nobody waits for it. If it is used at the start of every video, shorter is better.

Keep it on brand

The animation should feel like your business: smooth and restrained for a professional service, livelier for a bar or event brand. It should also end on a clean, still version of your logo so it works when the video is paused. Animations are produced in Adobe After Effects using your logo files, colours and fonts.

File formats to ask for

An MP4 for social media and websites, a version with a transparent background for video editors to place over footage, and versions in the shapes you need, such as landscape for YouTube and presentations and square or vertical for social. Tell me where it will be used and I will supply the right set.
